Normally when we see window seats, they’re rectangular, but in this house renovation by architecture and interior design firm Taylor Knights, the window seats have a wedge design.
Of the two window seats included in the house, one is located next to the kitchen, and the other is part of a dedicated reading room. Both of the window designs protrude away from the walls of the house, creating wedges that are ideal spaces for a window seat.
The black-framed window seats look out to the garden, and have a dark grey upholstered bench that’s been decorated with comfortable cushions. Making them the ideal place to take a break, enjoy the garden, or read a book.
