Manoj Patel Design Studio has designed a home in Vadodara, India, that features a textured accent wall on the facade that’s made from clay.
The textured wall has a pattern made from strips that have been carved out from flat clay roof tiles of different sizes.
Each individual section of the cut clay has been glued together to create a single module, which when added to the wall creates the overall pattern.
The design of the pattern also enables the sun to create unique shadows throughout the day.
