Have a look inside the newly opened ICEHOTEL, located in the small village of Jukkasjärvi in the north of Sweden. Every winter the hotel is built again, and features the work of a variety of artists and designers.
Some quick facts about the ICEHOTEL
– 2,500 ice blocks are harvested with each block weighing two tons.
– Around 200 artists apply to join the creation of the ICEHOTEL each year.
– Once spring hits, the ICEHOTEL melts and is returned to nature.
