An Exterior Spiral Staircase Was Covered In Wood Slats To Match The Rest Of This House

Exterior spiral stairs aren’t something we often see on a modern house, however, Dutch architecture firm Egeon Architecten has included one on this house in Amsterdam, which features a warm wood exterior that complements its natural surroundings.

The addition of a spiral staircase on the exterior of the house creates a sculptural element. The wood slats have been used to cover the metal frame, allowing it to somewhat blend in with the overall appearance of the house’s exterior.
